Hi everyone, It's Christmas day, and I have just sent my slave (hubby) up to the chippy to make the Xmas dinner. Of course I need to go soon and put the finishing touches. He is only good at cooking the lobsters! Looks like a seafood special with fresh scallops and fresh sea prawns again. I have not been very inspired with painting this year because I saw it as one big exercise and feel that I have learnt so much on the technical side so what's left for me is to be more creative/imaginative in my subject matter in future. This year, my new interest have been mainly selling, well almost giving away my money cuttings on Ebay. I have made quite a few friends, including one in China on our holiday -a lady who went to Primary school with hubby. She asked him if I am his daughter! I am still on cloud 9 and my hubby is going round telling everyone that she is blind! We added a new addition to our family in September, a bengal kitten - she has mellowed the Old Man lots from nickname Ten-Answers-Back to Five-Answers-Back, a pure bundle of joy, keeps us busy, in fact we are wanting another. Anyway, I have got to go now before the phone rings, don't want a stressed hubby on Christmas day! Have a Lovely Christmas and all the best for the New Year. Hi Tatty Thanks for your kind comments about the site. I almost blushed. Enjoyed reading the threads and particularly like the Otter picture, very real. Strange seeing the pics of Steve Vai as I was once a big fan of Whitesnake when I thought he was possibly the best guitarist around. Bye for now. http://www.wildrossendale.co.uk

Hi, everyone, I just can't believe that another year has passed! What have I been up - well I haven't done much painting - I did make my first sale on Ebay though, painted a lady's pet dog called Dixie for 99 whole pence! It has to be the bargain of the century and I thoroughly enjoyed executing it with the intention of making my first buyer a very happy person. I would love to advertise again in 2009 for my second buyer. I have almost stopped storing art materials but have gone onto storing wool - yes old age is definitely setting in with my newfound pastime - knitting and crocheting, designing my own knitwear - more rewarding than painting at the moment. Oh, riding my exercise bike 2 - 3 miles daily has delayed rigor mortis -is this my first attempt at sport? Happy New Year Everyone.

Your work is truly amazing! The time and effort you have put in was worth it. A couple of the animal and Vai pics looked so realistic as if they were actually there infront of me. Keep up the good work x

This is a test to see if my guestbook works. I hope it has been sorted now. Well another year has passed, I am a year older and growing more stiffer. I think I am slowly turning into a corpse! My New Year's Resolution is to stop buying art materials off Ebay! I keep saying that I have got enough. my family alias - The Mob say that I have got enough - but they are like pressies through the door first thing in the morning. Okay I will try...... Happy New Year everyone, hope you continue to enjoy browsing at my crazy website especially at my New Challenges Link.

Hi Mrs Chan,As with my uncle, my dad gave me this address. Your paintings are great, As good, if not better than your spring rolls, and they are the best I've tasted. I hope Chiggys OK, give him my regards. Tony

Hi Tia Tia It seems a life time since we worked together at Fearns. My brother passed the address of your web site to me so I've been browsing it for the past half hour. I just want to say hello and congratulate you on the wonderful artwork you have created. Stay happy, Rod
